Maybe you’ve just arrived at a new base, or this is the first ever base you’ve lived on and you want to jump in with both feet. Or perhaps you’ve been using the hub for a while and you’ve discovered that you’re one of our unofficial cheerleaders! If you’ve got a little time, a passion for connecting people and networking, and you’re a fan of coffee and cake, then we need your help.
We’re looking for two ambassadors in each of our hubs
So, if you use (or plan to use) your local Military Coworking Networking Hub, and you want to help them stay open, this could be the perfect role for you. We already know from our current Hub Ambassadors that they value their time volunteering with the MCN because;
Helping others boosts their self esteem
A shared purpose has built a sense of camaraderie and teamwork
They’ve discovered new skills and talents
The Military Coworking Network is still a pilot project – which means that we need your help. For the Hubs to stay open in the long term we need to know that they’re being loved and used, and providing value to the community.
So, we’re building a team of volunteers who can be our eyes and ears on the ground, who can help us run occasional events, give feedback on the Hub experience, and stay in touch with the MCN Delivery Team. We’ll give you the training and resources you need to be an effective Hub Ambassador, and we’re always on the end of a phone to provide guidance and support.
To let you know how much we appreciate your help, each Hub Ambassador will get a free Gold Membership (worth £120) giving you unlimited access to your local Hub, a paragraph written by us detailing the list of responsibilities for your CV, and a character reference from individuals in the MCN Team.
