Jo Loly is a military spouse based in Herefordshire with a passion for fostering mental health wellness within organisations and the wider community. Her successful business, Calming Connections, offers an array of courses, seminars, and retreats on different topics related to mental health and wellbeing. Supporting others lies at the very heart of her work. Empowering them to take control of their mental health, her goal. But she's also a huge advocate for our coworking facility at Hereford.
This is what she has to say:
Working at Hereford Coworking Hub has been a game-changer for me.
Not only has it provided a professional and energising space to focus and be productive, but it’s also given me access to a vibrant community of like-minded professionals.
Networking has never felt easier or more organic – I’ve met people from all different fields, which has opened unexpected opportunities for collaboration and growth.
I have also been able to tap into people’s knowledge. For instance, one of the fellow members gave me some practical advice and support when I was setting up for my first ever zoom teaching session.
The shared resources, like high-speed internet, quiet meeting rooms, printers, and even little perks like tea and coffee, mean I don’t have to worry about the typical office logistics and the financial implications of providing them.
I would never have been able to provide myself with this level of technical support and a useful space to work. I feel like I am stepping into a workspace and my whole mindset adjusts accordingly. You just don’t get this when having to work from home.
It’s streamlined my workflow and saved me so much time. Plus, the events and workshops they host are always insightful and relevant, keeping me inspired and learning new things all the time. Opportunities that I would otherwise miss out on.
The WhatsApp group means there is always someone on hand for support and all questions are asked in a quick time.
I’m genuinely more productive, motivated, and connected thanks to this space.
