The Final Evaluation of the MCN is about to start, and we need your help!
The Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust (AFCFT) has appointed The Charity Spark to conduct the final evaluation of the MCN project, a critical piece of work that will give the MCN and its partners valuable insight into the impact of the project across the Armed Forces community.
Where we are today
The project plan has been agreed, the team is in place, and we’re gearing up to kickstart the evaluation process soon.

A key part to delivering this, is to set up a Co-creation Group, which will comprise MCN Hub and Online Members as well as representatives from The Charity Spark.
The Co-Creation Group
The purpose of this group is to work closely with The Charity Spark to create the end-to-end evaluation process, including the survey that will be shared with MCN members and their serving partners, as well as key stakeholders from the military bases where our hubs operate.

Participation in the Group provides an excellent opportunity to not only get involved in shaping the evaluation, but also to gain some valuable insight into and experience in project evaluation, something you could add to your CV experience.
About the Co-Creation Group
In an ideal world we would have a primary and secondary contact from each of our coworking hubs. This ensures business continuity if the primary contact cannot attend.
We are also seeking two representatives from the Online Community who are not hub members.
Your Commitment
The Charity Spark would like to meet virtually with this Group four times during the end-to-end evaluation process (exact dates and times to be confirmed):
-
November 2024
-
March 2025
-
September 2025
-
March 2026
Each online session will last approximately 90 minutes.

There may also be some ad hoc questions put to the Group outside of these sessions. Any questions will be emailed directly to the Group.
The Role of the Co-Creation Group
Get Involved
If you’d like to get involved and be part of this important Co-creation Group, please complete the short Registration Form below by close of play, Thursday, 31 October.

Once we have a list of volunteers, we will contact you individually to let you know if you’ve been selected.

Please remember, that even if you do not get selected for the Co-creation Group, you still have a vital role to play in the evaluation process.

This will include participating in the online survey as well as face-to-face interviews if you are a hub member – The Charity Spark will be visiting all our hub locations as part of the evaluation process. Exact dates and times to be confirmed nearer the time.

Thanking you in advance for your support.
